Kevin Pietersen is recently active towards the ongoing India-England Test series and continuously tweeting about the event. Pietersen earlier criticized the batsmen of either side because of the poor performance in the third Test in the Motera stadium, Ahmedabad.

Pietersen will represent England along with Monty Panesar and Ryan Sidebottom and many other England legends in the charity event. However, all the players were asked to quarantine and Pietersen will have to do the same. Also, they need to go through the Covid Test and will only get featured in the event if the result comes negative.

After getting defeated in the first match by 227 runs, India bounced back and won two Test matches back to back.

The pitches were considered poor by the England former players and critics because of so much rough and help for the spinners. However, former England batsman Kevin Pietersen also criticized the batting of either side rather than calling the pitch poor.

Australian pacer Nathan Lyon also expressed his opinion in the ongoing controversy. He believes that there is nothing wrong with the pitch. Even, the Australian team played in the seam pitches that are really unplayable and get bowled out for 45-60. He also said that everyone in the world seems to cry when the ball starts spinning.

“We play on seaming wickets around the world and get bowled out for 47, 60. Nobody ever says a thing,” Lyon told AAP.

“But as soon as it starts spinning, everyone in the world seems to start crying about it. I don’t get it. I’m all for it, it was entertaining.

“I was up all night watching it. It was absolutely brilliant. I’m thinking about bringing that curator out to the SCG,” he added.

India currently has a 2-1 lead in the series against England and the final match between the two teams will decide the finalist for the ICC World Test Championship between India and Australia. India needs to win or draw their final match to get the tickets for the finale while Australia will pray for England to win the match against India because that will be the only way for them to get in the finals of the ICC World Test Championship.
