Top 10 Best Dressed Stars From BAFTA 2021, from Pedro Pascal to Anna Kendrick
The COVID-19 Pandemic could not stop the glitz and glamour of this year’s BAFTA awards. The pandemic did not stop the stars from dressing up and putting their best foot forward for the elegant award night even though some of them decided to attend virtually.
The award ceremony was stretched across two evenings due to the restrictions but took place at the usual venue Royal Albert Hall. This was for many stars their first red carpet appearance in over a year and they certainly did not disappoint when it came to presenting themselves. From Tom Hiddleston to Venessa Kirby, these were the top 10 dressed stars from the red carpet of the BAFTA’s this year.
- Tom Hiddleston
The Avengers star donned a double-breasted black Ralph Lauren suit for the evening. Not typically what we are used to watching him on screen wearing a Asgardian coat and a gold armour but he surely did pull off that black suit.
2. Rose Byrne
The Australian actress ditched the traditional gown for something more eye catching, choosing a black tailored two-piece that featured a cropped jacket, complete with oversized satin lapels, with a plunging neckline.
3. James Mcavoy
The X Men star added some swagger to his classic tailored suit by wearing a pair of orange sunglasses on the red carpet. Not what we are used to seeing him as compared to his traditional award ceremony looks, but this did spark some joy to his ensemble.
4. Anna Kendrick
The American actress went for a pleated metallic gown by Zuhair Murad for her virtual appearance. The gown a fitted waist and a thigh-high slit. She did make heads turn.
5. Riz Ahmed
Riz Ahmed chose to go all Prada for his look donning a navy single-breasted wool and mohair suit, a patterned burgundy polo-neck jumper, and black brushed leather derby shoes. The actor was up for award for his role in Sound of Metal.
6. Pheobe Dynevor
The Bridgerton actress went with an off-the-shoulder black gown by Louis Vuitton for the occasion that featured a puffed sleeve and a full skirt. Dynevor flaunts the look with statement jewels, including a diamond cocktail ring and diamond hoop earrings.
7. Pedro Pascal
The Narcos and The Mandolorian star also went for an all Prada look. Pascal threw on a delicious Prada tuxedo coat, crisp white shirt and skinny-fit suit trousers. The actor was up for an award for best foreign film.
8. Vanessa Kirby
The British actress who was up for an award for her role in “Pieces of a woman” decided to go with a silver metallic fitted gown by Versace that featured thin spaghetti straps and a thigh-high slit. She chose to attend the ceremony virtually but did not disappoint in choosing her style.
9. Richard E Grant
The Star Wars actor went with a classic three piece black suit pairing a waistcoat with a matching blazer and pair of trousers. Grant finished off his formal look with some classic lace-up brogues.
10. Priyanka Chopra
The Indian actress along with her husband Nick Jonas attended the event wearing a white high-waisted billowing trousers topped with a crimson jacket covered in floral embroidery from the Spanish label Pertegaz’s Autumn/Winter runway collection.
