In an exclusive chat with Behindwoods, H. Vinoth shared, “My film with Dhanush sir is not happening at this moment. His current commitments and the financials involved in our project didn’t quite align. It might be shelved or postponed indefinitely.” But all hope is not lost, as Vinoth enthusiastically added, “My dream is to bring both Dhanush sir and Vijay Sethupathi sir together in one epic project. If not now, then perhaps in another film.”

But fear not, as it’s gearing up for a grand theater release on July 23, 2026.
The narrative centers on Thalapathy Vetri Kondan, a retired official with a mission. He adopts a young girl, Viji, determined to raise her as a fierce, independent woman. Despite her apprehension towards violence, circumstances compel them to join forces. Together, they confront a looming threat with implications that could shake the nation to its core. In the heart of the turmoil, Vetri Kondan discovers a personal vendetta that propels him to seek justice.
