Samsung Partners with Activision for Enhanced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Experience

Samsung Electronics has entered into an exclusive partnership with Activision, designating Samsung as the official provider of TVs, monitors, soundbars, and Wi-Fi speakers for the anticipated release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. This collaboration aims to integrate Samsung’s advanced display and audio technologies with Activision’s renowned first-person shooter franchise, enhancing the gaming experience prior to the official launch.

Strategic Expansion in Gaming Technology

The Call of Duty franchise is acclaimed for its significant impact on the gaming industry, and this partnership represents a strategic move by Samsung to deepen its foothold in next-generation gaming. The initiative spans across Samsung’s offerings in TVs, monitors, soundbars, and connected gaming services.

HDR10+ Gaming for Enhanced Visual Experience

The integration of HDR10+ GAMING technology into Modern Warfare 4 exemplifies this collaboration, offering improved color accuracy and contrast that align with the developers’ creative vision. Cody Neal, Head of Partnerships at Activision, emphasized the synergy, “Samsung’s technology offers an exciting platform to experience Call of Duty with enhanced clarity and responsiveness.”

Modern Warfare 4 will support a 32:9 super ultrawide aspect ratio, optimized for Samsung’s Odyssey G9 monitors, providing an expansive in-game perspective.

Global Engagement through Samsung Gaming Hub

Samsung will leverage its Gaming Hub to broadcast Call of Duty: NEXT live on August 21, enabling gamers to access content directly through their Samsung devices. A promotional banner will feature prominently in the Gaming Hub interface.

  • Beta Early Access codes will be distributed via the Samsung Promotion app, allowing select users to experience the Beta from August 21-25 ahead of the Open Beta from August 28 to September 1.
  • The Samsung Gaming Hub consolidates major cloud gaming services, including Xbox Cloud Gaming, streamlining user access to diverse gaming content.

Showcasing at Gamescom 2026

Samsung plans to feature Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 at Gamescom 2026, from August 26-30 in Cologne, Germany, one of the world’s premier gaming events. Attendees will have the opportunity for early gameplay on Samsung Odyssey monitors, which are engineered for optimal gaming performance.

Visitors to Samsung’s booth will also receive Vault Edition Battle.net game codes, allowing them to experience the game ahead of its official release on October 23.
