At Samsung, we aim to deepen our understanding of users, explore new possibilities in everyday scenarios, and create experiences that enrich lives and shape a better future.”

IDEA 2026: Recognition for Design Excellence

Founded by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) in 1980, IDEA is esteemed globally for excellence in design. At IDEA 2026, Samsung’s Accessibility Design for Home Appliances received the new Impact Award for showcasing strong sustainability and social contribution. This design accommodates various user needs, enhancing usability for individuals with visual, hearing, mobility, and cognitive differences. Features like Easy Mode and Auto Open Door simplify operations, while Voice ID recognizes users’ preferences, offering a tailored appliance experience.
