Siri AI expands language support with latest update

With the release of the 27.2 software updates today, Siri AI has broadened its language offerings, making it accessible to a wider global audience. This advanced version of Siri, designed to be significantly more interactive and capable, is now available in French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Siri AI represents a total redesign of the original Siri, enhancing personalization and functionality while maintaining user privacy. Leveraging Apple Intelligence, Siri AI utilizes an understanding of personal context to assist users in finding information they need immediately across various platforms such as messages, emails, and photos. Additionally, its capabilities extend to systemwide app actions, enabling users to perform tasks like composing an email from scratch or modifying and sharing photos directly.

With its onscreen awareness feature, Siri AI can respond to queries or execute actions based on the content displayed on a user’s device. It can also tap into extensive world knowledge to provide the latest information on nearly any subject.

Apple plans to further extend the language support of Siri AI, with Chinese (traditional), Norwegian, Turkish, and Vietnamese expected to be available by the year’s end.
