Apple and MLB reveal July schedule for ‘Friday Night Baseball’

Apple, in collaboration with Major League Baseball (MLB), has announced the schedule for “Friday Night Baseball” set to stream every Friday on Apple TV during the 2026 regular season. Subscribers in 60 countries and regions can look forward to two featured games each week, enjoying advanced production quality and expert commentary without any local broadcast restrictions.

The July lineup includes notable games, starting on July 10 with the Boston Red Sox visiting Juan Soto and the New York Mets at Citi Field. The month will wrap up on July 31 with two intense division matches: the Texas Rangers versus the Houston Astros and the San Francisco Giants traveling to face the San Diego Padres.

MLB fans in the U.S. and Canada have the opportunity to access a one-month Apple TV trial at apple.co/MLBoffer, available until July 5. This trial includes access to the live “Friday Night Baseball” games, along with other Apple Original series and films.

Entering its fourth consecutive season, the “Friday Night Baseball” broadcasts will feature commentary teams including Wayne Randazzo (play-by-play), Dontrelle Willis (analyst), and Heidi Watney (sideline reporter), alongside Alex Faust (play-by-play), Ryan Spilborghs (analyst), and Tricia Whitaker (sideline reporter). Rich Waltz will join to commentate select games, with weekly announcer lineups being disclosed. Lauren Gardner will host the pregame shows, joined by former MLB All-Star Eric Hosmer and insider Russell Dorsey.

Presented by Chevrolet and Essilor, the event is produced by MLB Network’s award-winning team in collaboration with Apple’s sports production experts.
