WhatsApp introduces new features for seamless living

WhatsApp for iPad

Since the announcement of WhatsApp for iPad last year, one major request from users has been to create a WhatsApp account directly on the iPad without linking to a phone. This capability is now available. You can register on the iPad app, set up your account, and start using WhatsApp immediately.

Enhanced CarPlay and Android Auto

The WhatsApp car audio experience has been completely revamped. Now, you can listen to and respond to messages, make calls, view your call history, and access your favorites—all hands-free and directly from your car’s screen.

Improved PDF Handling

WhatsApp now allows you to open PDFs directly in the app without needing to download them first. You can make light edits such as highlighting and annotating right within the chat. This feature is available on the web and desktop versions, with support from Adobe Acrobat.

Music Sharing

Music sharing is an expression of oneself, and now you can share a song directly from Apple Music or Spotify to your WhatsApp Status. A couple of taps are all it takes for friends to see what you’re currently enjoying, making your Status more personal.
