Primark stores now open for UK residents, sales surge post relaxed lockdown

The global Coronavirus pandemic has led the World to a halt. The pandemic has forced various countries to take lockdown measures, same is the case with the whole of United Kingdom.
United Kingdom has total of 4.9 million cases of coronavirus.

Now with the vaccine coming into play, the government of United Kingdom has eased the lockdown measures and people are allowed to step out in small numbers,m whilst stores and shops are allowed open and conduct business. This looks like a relief for Primark – the retail stores which houses clothing, cosmetics and houseware products.

Primark stores which had incurred heavy losses during the lockdown as they were also not in favor of selling products online is now back with some good sales numbers. Primark had a decent amount of sales during the Christmas period.

Last week, it had a sales record with people eager to shop for summer clothes and daily eating materials. The shop also had a huge queue outside even before their operating time and had to extend their shop closing timings. As per the statistics, Primark stores in England and Wales represents a major amount of sales.
Now the good news is that, Primark stores in Scotland will be opening very soon in the coming week with all the safety measures so that the customers are happy to come back and shop.

CEO of Primark, Paul Marchant said that he was very happy to be back with fresh stocks and seeing people buying good amount of products.
